Hi, I'm also originally from Poole (Parkstone actually) then Wimborne before
Moving to the US. Enjoy the 1299
 
Not quite close enough for a quick blast, but Norfolk/Suffolk has good roads I can show you round if you're ever this way.

Nice one on the 1299 too
 
I'm envious that you can access my fav' Dorset & Wilts roads A30 Salisbury west, B3018, and A35 Weymouth - West Bay, to name just a few.

I am from Parkstone, there are some great roads as you say here in Dorset and Wilts, shame the speed limits have been reduced on the coast road from weymouth to west bay.

really looking forward to getting the 1299S now, went to Milan to see it and deposit went down about a week later, dealer says March build with March delivery so i should have it in time for Easter i hope.

Whole southern UK has great roads when you can avoid the traffic, painted lines on the prime corners, speed cameras etc. Still miss the old UK for its character, we have some great roads out here just have to travel further.
