Hello to all,

I'm new to this forum and happy to be here. I have just ordered a 2016 Panigale R and am very much looking forward to being part of the Ducati family :)

I haven't ridden a Superbike yet, so it's going to be quite the event when I take her out for the first time.

Delivery is expected to be in 3-4 weeks. I will post photos here once I pick her up.

Hope you folks don't mind me posting silly questions in the future :D

It's not been one of my most sensible decisions, granted, but then again, life's too short to always give the reason priority over the heart. I'll keep her in WET-mode for as long as I need to.

No worries, my first superbike was Panigale 1199S, just be safe and keep in wet mode 120 with all electronics turned on.
Congrats, but I am surprised you had to order it. I believe there was talk about many of them being made and sitting at dealers I the U.S...
R model is the most pure Ducati there is, the homologation bike, yes!
 
The bike has just arrived at the dealership and is awaiting a few bits and pieces of optional equipment fitting. Weather is quite bad at the moment so I will have to wait some more.

Have to say the SL on this one. But the R is the next greatest thing for sure.
