Hello to all!
I am a lifelong rider of motorcycles but have only owned one Ducati which was a 748S. I recently sold the bike and looking to buy something newer, possibly a previously owned 1199 Panigale R. I’m hoping the wealth of information here will help guide me through the twist and turns of what lies ahead. Cheers!

One should never sell their motorcycles if they have the funds and space. I have many regrets. The 748 to an 1199 is a big step up in HP. Another 75%? So, consider that in your next purchase. Welcome lots of good info on here.

Thanks guys! The 748 sat in my breezeway as a piece of artwork for a couple years because I just couldn’t part with it.
To your point baggerman, luckily I have been on an R1 for the past few years and certainly couldn’t go back onto anything smaller. However I will follow that by saying an 1199 Panagile R far eclipses my riding abilities.
