Hello everyone I am new to this forum, I am an old guy,I got my 1st "real" motorcycle in 1971 at age 10 (Yamaha mini enduro 60), my "bike" up to that point was a Powell mini bike which was pretty high tech back then .
A parade of different makes & types followed , Hodaka 100,Husky WR 250,Kawasaki KZ 650SR,the shiznit in 1978.
Yamaha Virago 750,Kawasaki Ninja 750, XT 500 Yamaha thumper, Buell 1200, Suzuki SV1000s and finally last but not least my 2011 Ducat Diavel Carbon Black, I have wanted a Ducati for many years, I knew they were a cut above however never knew how awesome they are until I rode one.
My Diavel is the 1st bike I ever had that I have yet to floor it through the gears.
I'm not sure I ever will without lowering my front sprocket a tooth at least.
It's cool to be able to learn what others experiences and feelings are in comparison to mine and this forum is a gold mine of helpful, interesting information!
