Hello everyone,

I wanted to take a minute and introduce myself. My name is Bill, and I live in Texas. I recently moved here from Wisconsin, land of beer, brats, and crappy weather. The good thing about Tx, is being able to ride 300 days a year if you choose.

As for my bike, I don't pick her up till next week, but I bought a 2013 Panigal 1199. Wish I could have gotten a 1299, but this being my first Ducati, I'm just happy I could find this one.

Any advice you have, I'm all ears.

Look forward to talking with everyone...... Bill

Welcome!

I definitely not a fan for northeast...anywhere north. Too cold. Lol

Welcome to THE forum.. Dallas resident here too....

Welcome, I've been here for a couple of years.

I do track days with AMS Ducati and RideSmart. Ridesmart has a few track weekends at COTA, which is a fabulous track but expensive. AMS mostly does Ducati only events at Cressen, which is about 40 miles from downtown Dallas. RideSmart does track days at other regional track as well and is a great organization to partake in.

AMS Ducati organizes a social group that does dinner rides a couple of times a month.

I street ride with a couple of different groups, one a sports bike and the other is a Ducati group.

I've pm'd you the link to the FaceBook groups.

Honestly, there's not a lot of great stressing riding, but anytime getting out on a bike is good.

It's good to see fellow Texans on the forum, I'm still trying to find my way around the state....

Let me get her home, and tucked in, but then I would love to get together and see what this beautiful state looks like.

I will be honest, I would love to have had this bike back in WI, just so I could have taken her on Road America. I did a couple track days on my GSXR-1000, amd damn if that isn't a fun track. The other one I rode on a few times was Blackhawk Farms, in the northern part of Illinois. It was a smaller track, but fun none the less...
