The session before this one there was a bit of water on the track so I turned my traction control up before someone points that out. If anyone has any ideas of whats going on here I would love the impute.

Right, your bike is fairly unstable... Try:
1: check rear tyre pressure
2: is 1: is ok or quite close, add some more rebound on your rear.
3: next, try to hold on to the bike with your legs, in order for you to relex in arms and upper body.

The pani is sensitive to rider input, so try to avoid using your arms for holding the bike.

Bowhunter has a great suggestion.

Relax your arms. How much weight are on your wrists? Hopefully none.

Pay a few bucks to have someone setup the suspension. Usually at a trackday you can get that done for just a few bucks.

Also do you have any pics of the tires. There a huge indicator of how the suspension is working.

Even on bumpy roads I've never EVER had that much headshake, especially not when WOT in Race/Sport under 100mph.

1. Is your suspension set up for your weight & track use?
2. Major headshakes can be indicative of geometry issues. Did you change the rear tire size?
3. What everyone else said.

sorry to highjack your thread, notice your bike is constantly around 170-180 degrees F. Are you using Water Wetters? do you have a radiator protection grill on? I can't seem to keep mine under 200F.

Thanks

My tires are stock, air pressure is 26 rear 28 front (cold). Race mode front its a around 6C 8R Rear 10C 12R, sag has not been set. I come from MX, I would not be able to NOT squeeze the bike with my thighs if I tried. Weight is not on my wrists, arms, wrists never tired or soar. I really never felt unsafe but again I come from MX so the bike moving about it not uncommon for me. I mostly track my dedicated tack bike (R6). Most of the time I will just go out in the morning on the 1199 to open it up a little and then do the rest of the day on the R6. This time the R6 had some noise coming from the valve train so I parked it. Headed to Summit point on the 26, I will mess with it some more. Thank you guys. Bike is running water only.

Have you fitter the Aero kit (little extensions that clip on the front of your fairing, should've come with your bike?) I complained to my dealer about the same problem as I found the bike to be a little unstable (has been referred to me as a speed weave on a few occasions) this is a common Ducati-ism apparently (this is my first Ducati so I stand to be corrected) Anyway, I fitted the Aero kit as instructed and it does seem to be much better. You can but try....;)
