NOLA

The best part I love is how the dude bitched and complained about how ...... his 1199's are and how many problems he had with quality of them and that you will never see him with one again. Than last week he was looking to buy another R from a forum member. Way too funny, talk about someone that doesn't know wtf he wants.

This is getting too funny. After unsolicited trolling of my eBay helmet listing (the original topic of this thread) he is now trying to sell his similar helmet, sell it as "brand new" and at a claimed discount from full retail when he was boasting to me how cheap he got his ($995). Brilliant.

Brand New AGV Pista GP Project 46 Rossi (smoke visor) Carbon Helmet Size ML - BMW S1000RR Forums: BMW Sportbike Forum

....and ya know the Funniest part of all? I'm asking the exact amount I paid for it. No more no less. Opened the box and changed my mind. As a human being I have this crazy right to do as I please with my items.

Your fascination with me is cute though.

Another kicker is how over 100 members of this forum, plus many other members of numerous other forums have had nothing but positive experiences with me and my items, yet you continue your .... talk. Karma is one sour ....., enjoy the taste some day in the future. Its coming.

When a deal can be had, plans change. I change my mind every time I ride a different bike. Riding different makes and models does this crazy thing and actually changes peoples opinions of previously ridden bikes. How odd

See, what strikes me as comical with people like you is you disagree with my original opinion of the 1199 being, yes, "a piece of ....." Yet, when I buy another one, you get angry? So what is it? Is the bike a piece of ....? Or is it such a great bike that I think you'd be happy to see somebody buy another one?

... and I don't know "wtf" I want?? Yikes.

Go figure.

Wait, like the two guys who bought them from me in the end for $295 shipped, and had them in their mailbox in two days??

If I recall correctly, Houston SBK was selling them for $285ish at the time but they were backordered a month from them. The only other seller who had them available shipped at the time was $329ish a piece, and that was Pro Italia.

....and you'll learn one thing when selling anything in life- you raise your price big time initially and prepare to be haggled/harassed/bartered (yes, I'm one of them, no shame) down no matter how low or high of an original price you're asking. Whether you're on a forum, craigslist, ebay, or bartering with a relative or friend, shoot high and prepared to be talked down.

One more in the win count. Care to try another time?

See, it would be comical if I posted some of the absurd offers I was sent during my part-out but I unlike people like NOLA, WHOOPAZZ, outhouse etc, couldn't give a .... to normally waste my time here over petty ........, yet I felt this time I'd make a few exceptions.

Heres some of the offers I'd received:
$500 for Marchesini rims.
$150 for Ohlins Steering damper
$2200 for Akra exhaust
$1200 for Full Termi exhaust
$250 for front brake calipers
the list goes on

While bashing people for lowball offers may seem fun, its somewhat childish, absurd, loser-like so I'll digress.

I won't be back on this thread until it recycles itself to the top again after it reaches page two or three.

Have a good night all.

Moderators should remove this thread. It's harassing now. Either direction you even want to try to argue.

Has no business here, unless this forum is into this type of thing.....I've seen this before, dump it before it drags.

Thanks man. I agree 100%. I could care less if it was removed as I don't mind people seeing the truth.

I'm on numerous other Ducati forums (as you know) and see a few names there who messaged me for parts and stated they were active on this forum in the past but left for numerous reasons particularly immature ........ like this. I've even had another member here txt me specifically saying not to mention his or her name on here as they didn't want to be associated with this forums drama.

By the way, your brake line made it to the shop today right on time? If not, let me know. Let us know how your first ride is with the SSSA.

To the rest: I'm such a horrible person/seller/member of society I worked with alfredogtx getting my R's rear brake line boxed up, then left work mid-day friday to get to the post office to get it shipped overnight to his shop so they would get it by noon yesterday in Texas so he could get his 899 up and running 100% rear brake and all.

One last bit of ammo to throw out at the guys who's home livers are obviously miserable:

Man, me selling my fuel pump for $55 asking price sure makes me a greedy SCUMBAG!

Watching some of you people get so angry over a couple dollars is couple. I do something and I'm branded a POS. Yet 14 of you motherfuckers go to the 10th exponent and yet somehow its okay... Drink bleach.

....okay, my grammars getting sloppy, time to pass out.

Sometimes people see for sale ads on items they wish they had swooped in on but didn't get to it in time n missed out on a steal of a deal. Then they hold that advertised price as a price they'd offer when they see someone else selling the same item, especially if the items being sold aren't moving as quickly as the seller had hoped. Case in point.....my ohlins damper which I paid $130 for from a seller on here. I had no plans on buying one but as soon as I saw that price, I had to have it. Since I saw that item being sold that low, I'd never pay more than maybe $200 for it max. That doesn't mean it's not worth more, it just means it's not of any value to me at that price or higher, regardless of what it retails for.

Lowballing someone is a strategy and I understand how frustrating it can be to deal with as a seller. I returned my 2010 Evo back to stock before selling the car n parted out all my mods (~$20k worth) and was getting offered some absurd offers to which I didn't even waste my time responding to. Lowballers are hoping to be dealing with a seller who is desperate for cash. If you're in no rush to sell (I wasn't), you just sit n wait until you get an offer worth entertaining.

You definitely are indecisive as hell. You buy and sell bikes like it's the thing to do. I take it the hp4 didn't tickle your fancy enough to keep it but in the end, who cares. Buy n sell as many bikes or parts you want. In the end, it's your money. Throw it in a burning flame if it means keepin your ... warm. No one elses business but yours.

.

It's wild how users can live on a forum. I'll admit I do check them out, but i rather be riding than lose my etiquette over something so futile and even personally pointless. The politics of forcing thoughts on people is unwise. Making negative and non beneficial statements is annoying and garbage. Doing this to a user, flat out unethical -whichever direction, as i don't want to dig into this.

It did! 17 minutes before the scheduled time, I called to confirm arrival. I'll keep yall in the know, once she's good to go.

From external perspective|testimony|review and nothing specific to owe in return; i'll say that Dylan has put up with numerous questions and haggles from me alone w/o issues or annoyed pleasure. Later on, within first inquiry to this particular line and in less than 2hrs, my item had a shipping label and tracking number. Sent on time and priced at half of retail cost....i didn't even care to haggle, it was fair.

That all said, a lot of this sounds like one person's bad experience and a bunch of speculation.

On the flip side, if you disagree...feed into your own words and don't be a hypocrite. If we all share the love for the Panigale, we are obviously all intelligent enough to recognize when to be gentleman.

I went to that link, and it seems other posters are doing to you, what you did to Djmac that started this thread, telling everyone they can buy the helmet new for less then you have it listed. What goes around comes around I suppose... BTW, the second you buy something it is USED, like new maybe, but still USED.

When Dylan parted out his bike his prices were better then I've seen forsale. LED head lights at 500ish, duc carbon fender 150 etc got way cheaper then ebay and other ducati forums. He's a plus for me

+1.

But someone had to win the innnernedd that day

"I love when My S leaks from the valve cover, and then two weeks later my R does too! Then, for the last week my R never starts. It takes a good minute or two of cycling on and off, twisting the throttle etc etc to start. I ended up removing the charcoal canister last night and it appears that problem is fixed (thanks AntiHero on your how to) but man how I can't wait for the spring to sell both of these piece of .... Ducati 1199's. I can't wait to NEVER own another Ducati until I die. Its gonna be a great, stress free future not owning any Italian made trash. I can't believe how big of a ....... ..... I am for thinking the R would be "problem-free."

Who says I was mad? Read my response, I laugh at your dumb ...!

I think he loves this forum, and bought a Ducati just so he could complain here about it - THAT would make sense! :D
