Hi there, Mark here from the sunny SA. I joined the forum yesterday after reading some very helpful posts and got to the bottom of some issues etc. I took delivery of my 1299Panigale S three weeks ago and had it on the track for the first time on Saturday. I had an awesome experience and the bike blew me away. Currently being serviced and I cannot wait to get her back. Looking forward to learn and share some experiences. Cheers!

Hi Gecko, no I did 1200km before going to the track and did around 200km on track day. Ducati South Africa actually arranged a Family Christmas Track day at Kyalami and invited all owners who purchased Ducati's from them over the past 3 years. I had to run my bike in before the track day and they arranged to take it in for the first service afterwards. I did everything according to what the dealer advised and I was allowed to run up until 1500km before the service and only opened her up on track for the first time. I'll have to go back after the service sometime to feel the difference after the service and remapping etc.
