Hi from Ty- Newbie from Germany

Hi everyone, just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Ty (Tyson) and I'm a Canadian working and living in Germany. I just sold my 1198S Corse special edition and my girl's Pearl White 1198S and bought us two brand new 1299's, mainly because of all the modern features and the unbelievable power the motor delivers. The handling is also fantastic which is great because we live about 10km's away from the Hockenheim racetrack and ride there twice a year just for the fun of it. I did all the mechanical work on the 1198's myself (timing belt change, valve adjustment etc), but the 1299 is totally new territory for me- I'll probably be posting a lot of technical questions. Here's a pic of my Bella with the first mods: Ducabike clutch cover, lots of Duc Performance parts and custom seat. My winter project will be adding a graphics kit or getting it painted (the plain red is nice, but a bit boring considering that I am used to the tricolor Corse design). I've already gotten a bunch of ideas by checking out the pics that are posted here. Best wishes!

It's probably no where near you, but I would love to drive a 911 around Nurburgring. I love to watch videos of Nurburgring. The Porsche v. Corvette clips are cool but I also like the videos where guys are out there in basically anything with wheels and a motor. The beater cars make me start laughing because those guys have nothing to lose and they drive like lunatics. Inevitably, someone crashes and it sets off a domino effect. And talking about balls, there is always some guy riding his sport bike mixed in with a pack of cars. I just start grinning .... Happy trails.
