Hi has anyone installed the HM Stand Alone Shifter Blipper Pro or lite on their 1199 or 1299? Or any other Ducati that this model fits? If anyone has can you give me your review and opinion on how it worked for you? Or if you installed the HM OE replacement blipper and how it worked for you.

I have the translogic oem replacement sensor and it is way better than stock. I don’t know anything about HM but it is way more expensive than the TL sensor.

I became a dealer for HM. And ordered the HM OE OE replacement blipper shifter along with a shift rod and heim joints for ducatikev and the HM stand along blipper shifter pro for myself

Me and Ducatikev were going to get the HM plus or HM Plus SS units at first. The HM Plus SS has seamless shifting and can be set at all increments. But here a link to HMs comparison guide for there quickshifters. The HM plus and plus ss are in this comparison guide. Only the Hm Plus and plus ss fit our bikes. The only issue is that you can set them up either up shift or downshift in either the regular or gp shift pattern. They dont have the ability to be both up shift and down shift. Comparison Guide | HM Quickshifter

If we want both upshift and down shift then the only options are the HM OE blipper replacement shifter which DucatiKev ordered Shop HM OEM Blipper Shifter Replacement Range – Motorcycle Parts Online | HM Quickshifter

Or the HM Stand Alone Blipper shifter in either lite or pro. I wound up ordering the Pro version. Although I could have gotten away with the lite version. I think what sold me on the pro version was the warm up procedure. I watched a video on it and once the bike is turned on the bike revs itself in small increments to warm itself up. I wont be using the pitlane limiter. There is a $100 retail difference between the lite and pro. But after the dealer discount the lite and pro werent priced far apart from each other. After DucatiKev and I install each of our units we will give our reviews. I have a few other guys with Ducatis and BMWs interested in how both units feel. Most likely only one Ducati dude is interested in the stand alone blipper shifter and will decide whether he wants the pro or lite. The others are interested in the HM OE OE replacement blipper shifter

Yeah I can’t wait. I hope they don’t ship me one that’s infected w the virus

The question is why the big cost difference??? We’ll find out but I’m sure any precision aftermarket unit will be decades ahead of my OEM DQS hardware because it’s only working intermittently

Kev the OE replacment blipper is just that. A replacment blipper. Except as you said its an aftermarket blipper which will be far more precise. The HM stand alone blipper shifter has
*Simple plug and play system
*Instant self-learning algorithms makes the system super easy to use
*Highly customization and programmable – defaults to simple settings but advanced settings can be used, such as RPM and gear by gear programming to get perfect shifts and back shifts in any condition. (PRO Version) and
The PRO version is taking shifting / back shifting to the ultimate level. It is the only system on the market that communicates with your ECU to get many vital parameters allowing the shifter blipper to give perfect shifts whatever the load, RPM, Gear or throttle position. It is also completely plug and play in a small, waterproof and compact unit.

This is also very easy to fit.The Quickshifter is fitted the same as all our other units on the shift rod. This plugs directly into the SABS main box via a connector. The SABS Pro system also has the following connections

Plugs in to Temperature for the Warm up feature,Connect to Button which will be located on handlebar to start the Warm-up procedure and Pit Lane Limiter,Connection to the CAN port for a live data feed to the PC software for programming any changes to the set up,We also have a USB connector so the customer can plug into the computer and make changes if required,All Software is designed to be used on Windows based computers.

Kev to be honest I could have gotten either the lite version. Or bought the OE replacment blipper shifter like you did. When texting with you, having a full cup of whiskey next me and drinking it puts one in a certain mood. Therebye saying .... it Im better than a Motogp rider and need to buy the best of the best. I then had you venmo me the payment. Then said I NEEEEEEED THE SAB PRO. Send an email at 130am and get a response right away with an invoice lolol. Paid for it. And after going to sleep and dreaming of my MotoGP career all the while winning 3 championships in a row at a ripe age of 44. I wake up in the morning. As Im driving to work I realized I bought the SAB pro. Yes at a dealer discount. But all the while thinking to myself......hey ........ youre a beginner to intermediate track rider. Why in the world would you need the SAB pro. You could have gotten away with the lite version. Or what Kev got lol

I’m an amateur. The bike is art that I can ride sometimes (when it’s not at the shop)

Art shmart. I ordered 10 rubber grommets that go under the seat. They come 5 to a pack. I also ordered 2 seat bolts from Ducati Omaha and a single rubber grommet that goes into the tab at the back of the seat. They are side by side. I placed this order the night I ordered our HM products. I get the package Friday. Im like where are the 10 rotor bolts I ordered to replace the chewed up ones I removed when I pulled the wheels off last Sat and brought them to the powder coaters Tuesday. Turns out when I was looking up the seat bolt and the single rubber grommet I needed I saw something that said 5. So I ordered 2 packs of 5 thinking they were rotor bolts when in fact they werent. So I wound up ordering the rotor bolts today. Moral of the story. Dont drink a glass of whiskey when ordering things.
1) You will think you are a MotoGP rider and order the most expensive freekin QS
2) You are so messed up that you cant tell the difference between the seat microfiche and wheel microfiche. So when you see something that says 5 you assume those are rotor bolts because thats what you need. LOLOL

We’ll get our HM stuff in June sometime or July like the street fighter
No we wont. I told you I received an email from Garry Thursday around 1130am. He said it takes one to two days to assemble and program the SAB Pro and that the unit will be leaving the next day. The OE replacement blipper shifter you ordered is on a 7-10 business day back order. Your blipper order went in Wed morning. So figure yours will be shipped out between this Thursday and next Monday to him. And then it will be shipped to you.

And then a couple months to disinfect and make it to my door
Im guess so LOL. By the way I found out if you got the V4 you could use the HM OE replacement blipper on the V4 models. Chances are you could could use it on the Street Fighter as well. I didnt find out about the Street Fighter but I dont think Ducati would change the female adapter where this blipper would plug into on the Street Fighter. For example the Cordona 420Speciale fits the Monster, Multistrada 1260,1199R, 1299 models and all the V4 models. All of these bike models have the same female adapter that the Cordona 420speciale plugs into. And the HM OE replacement blipper has the same male plug that this Cordona has Ducati DQS Replacement Plug-Play Quickshifter - Blipper | Cordona Precision Technology
