The one thing I hated with my 1299 (water leaks aside) is the long number plate holder
from this...abortion I decided to fabricate
I have been looking at whats available in the market and as I have to order online and can only see it in the flesh once its arrived I decided to make my own, not complete yet but im on my way = Captain Style I was also reading some comments of the guys saying they were a bit flimsy?
I used the plastic original part and machined it down then built it up with carbon fibre I wanted to retain the OEM indicators to keep a stock look, so used the OEM indicator stalks but brought them in line with the back of the bike I cut into the rubbers to get the correct angle for indicator lenses for safety, not complete yet, but it will look as good I dont want it to be even noticeable when Im done ....
