So, I had insurance leading up to the birth of my child. 3rd trimester hit & I got laid off/fired anyway I had Cobra but I hadn't sent the paperwork in yet.. Anyway long story short. I told one of the best hospitals in the country NWM I was paying from insurance but hadn't kicked in yet.. Mistakenly I guess they gave me two bills one if I would have had insurance and the other because I am a cash patient.

No ........

26k billed to insurance for all pregnancy related expenses total out of pocket to patient was like 3k...

Now the kicker... my cash statement.. $4500...

Insurance is the biggest scam in the world... car health whatever.. I guess it's a necessary evil..

that being said

stocks in the Health care fund always have good returns & divendends maybe this is why....
