My only complaint so far with this bike is the fuel light. The level indicator seems to be in a spot that is effected by hard turns and wheelies. Ive run outa gas once already, and the fuel light has only come on for a second. I think part of my problem is cause the stealership reset my mileage after the 600 mile service. This tank i got 79 miles before the fuel light came on was just wondering what everyone else was getting. To eliminate some variables, i fill mine on the kick stand and shut the pump off when gas hits the left lip of the tank rim. 93 octance as well.

I have noticed some oddities with the fuel light as well. I was out yesterday and it came on at something like 85 miles. The odd thing was it turned back off after a few miles and didn't come on again. I went ahead and added fuel at about 95-100 miles, but I'll keep an eye on it and report back.

I fill mine straddeled so it is level. I have noticed the light will come on, but then will go off for awhile, then back on. Pretty inconsistent.

It's be discussed before on this forum. Check out this thread; http://ducati1199.com/mechanical-technical/1441-fuel-reserve-trip-issue.html

I must say, knock on wood, that mine has worked flawlessly. When it comes on, I have usually about a gallon or a little more left which is when it is supposed to work. I have gotten into the bad habbit of not even tracking miles and whenever the light comes on then I will look for a gas station.

On my light, I tend to get around 95 miles or so, then the light comes on, but doesn't stay on until I've done a 5 or 6 miles more, than it stays on so I know I need to get gas.

I always fill mine when I am on board

I can go about 90 miles until the light comes on, give or take 5 miles in either direction. That is for going to work or riding the canyons, when im doing highway, i can closer to 100 miles.

but Ive heard so many stories of people running out after the light comes on, that i always ghead to the nearest station when it does light up.
