You may have a little leak temporarily, but I wouldn't sweat it. Just tighten it back up properly and clean off any mess you made. Simple as cake.

Did the GB covers myself.

This is what I thought. Thanks

As soon as I get it I'll put it on.

No leak for me...I think that as long as you don't play around with the metal cover after removing the screws the seal stays in place and prevents leakage. Just be careful with the screw torque when tying up again

do it while it's on it's side stand and you for sure won't get any leaking. I changed the whole clutch cover and got no oil dripping. There really isn't that much oil in the clutch cover.

Does anyone know the torque for these screws? Just make sure to tied them back right.

Thanks

I trust my hand, and I believe you need a service manual for those torques. When I was doing mine, they weren't torqued all that much. I'd recommend a 1/4" drive so you don't go Bruce Banner and break or over torque anything.

On another note, do you have sliders? Because those don't do ....-all but look trick for moderate slides.

I think from memory the instructions that come with the carbon clutch protector state 10 nm.
Factoring in a standard DUCATI 10% tolerance for torque, 11 nm should be fine also.

Also the instructions state to put the metal washers underneath the cover(between the carbon protector and magnesium clutch cover). If you don't do this, the carbon cover is distorted against the magnesium.
In summary, put the washers behind the carbon.

As stated in an earlier post, perform the work with the bike on the side stand, and there won't be any oil in it to leak out as it runs to the other side of the engine.

looks great!

Changing out my entire clutch cover was easier than changing the damn windscreen....how messed up is that?
