thanks for posting this vid :)

this bike doesn't seem like something honda would do - props to them for having the tenacity . very cool

I think the one that is the street version for the US is less than that:
"In stock form, the stateside RC213V-S will only produce 101 horsepower "

and the kit is not an direct option for the U.S. customers you'll have to buy it separate iirc

Then give me a Grom any day...

seriously, why would they pitch this to a set of prestigious customers (who can fork over $200k), and then make them jump through hoops to get it up to specs.

I wonder if the resale will ever be higher than what people paid for it, given that it is such a rare bike?

Imagine the sum of bikes you can purchase for the price of one of these...

You can get an R, a Desmosedici, RSV4 RF, R1m etc... And still would have change.

It is the US regulations which make it dumbed down to that power range. I am sure who ever has purchased one of these already know how to get around the lack of power or knows who to pay to fix that issue.

they should just slap "track use label" on it

that aside, Ducati did make Desmo owner pay $12k for a track use Termi set.

i believe not sure though if you put on all the stuff that makes it a track bike you have to sign something for hrc that you cant do a bunch of things i believe one of them is ride it on the track lol

I really don't think the kit is hard to get I spoke to a friend who was buying one and that didn't concern him.

it's supposed to be a phenomenal bike, I have seen it up close and it really is beautiful but it's a lot of money.

was rossis actual desmo that the guy had to sign stuff about not riding it could be this too i could have sworn it was

Stock in the US is 106hp and you cannot buy or use the race kit with it here in the great USA..
