Bike wasn't done yesterday eve...had no place to crash for the night (just N of San Fran...bike at Marin Speed Shop...driving to Spring Mountain today)....

Called 80 and he and his wife and little one graciously offered their guest room.

Wouldn't have known him save for the forum.... I'm so thankful to him.... People like 80 serve to reaffirm my faith in humanity!

Having you was our pleasure; glad I got to share a glass of my good single malt Scotch with you. P.S. it was the Arran Private Cask that you liked so much; pity they only made 257 bottles of the stuff.

I agree; so many great people out there are the majority - it's not all doom and gloom, like the news would have us believe.

Cheers and can't wait for your report from Pahrump, Nevada and that track.

P.S. I can't help but notice the striking similarities between our Avatars... Apart from the fact that you hang off a LOT more than I do; we are quite different sizes and shapes though..:D

Yeah, 580 is a nightmare at the best of times...

Waiting to hear how it is going.. Very jealous.:D

I usually like Spring Mtn but the configuration they're running would be better suited to a much smaller bike...short little winding spurts then a hairpin. Tough on a liter bike. Yesterday was hot...today thunderstorms are threatening...might be a short day!
