Cant say the same nor would I wear "second" eye protection. Face shield is suppose to do the job...

To me its like saying I should wear "second" layer of leather suit under my main leather suit....makes absolutely no sense.
 
I think this might all be a cover up for what really happened....

Frosty ran his mouth....someone got tired of it and socked him in the eye.....coincidently a dead deer happened to be near by so why not take advantage of the situation.....lol.

Does anyone see the bike?.....

Regardless glad you are ok and you didn't get hurt worse....

Wife drove 11 hours to come get me. I thought the drive home was going to be scary. No stupid riding danger comments, she asked when I'm getting another one. Good woman, lucky to have her. On the drive back we almost smoked another deer in the car. My stomach sank as I held on and puckered up for round2. :eek:
 
Glad to hear you're ok! You can join the buck hunting club I'm starting after a deer got me on my gixxer... Deer lept into me on a tree lined road. I was only going 40ish, and just saw it leaping at me from behind a tree out of the corner of my eye, and then woke up an hour later in the hospital with a very bad concussion and broken ribs (with full gear).

Glad to hear you're also getting another bike. Although, honestly I'm still looking for deer any time I'm riding neer woods at dusk...

Glad to hear you are "Ok" and no major injuries. That's all that matters, you can always get another bike.

Hope you heal up quick! I'd wait to the end of the year to get another bike, as well. You never know what Ducati may do for 2014.

We have quite a few deer around the tree lined roads in my riding area as well. I thankfully haven't hit one yet but know several riders who have had unfortunate encounters, which is one of the primary reasons I wouldn't settle for a non-ABS Pani. In many instances there is simply nothing the rider can do but if ABS provides even a small percentage of a chance to avoid a collision then it's well worth it.

Every time I go for a ride I get a lecture. Especially this weekend.

Another note you guys stay safe out there. There's been a rash of accidents this month on the forum. Frosty, Kope glad u bums are ok.Not to mention the events in Moscow..But please stop testing the gear for a bit please?
