I have now run out of space, my wife has the dream house (her dream house) and will not let me sell it to buy a real house ,i.e.; a 12 garage pad with a kitchen and outhouse
It seems that my 1299 will soon have to stand in the garden, and harsh South African weather.
After coming home with a new car (direct replacement) it seems the new car is 4 centimeters longer? Now it used to work that I can get 2 bikes in front of my cars but that option is no more.
I was wondering if it is possible to get a bike lift that bolts to say a garage wall and will lift a bike vertically? allowing the bonnet of the car to slip in under it?
I don't ride the 1299 much and my plan will be to hang it on the wall so to speak, on a value merit system the cheapest vehicle would have to park in the rain and the sun, so you can appreciate I'm trying to avoid this.
I have searched on the net but only find vertical type lifts for cars, and this option will not work with my layout, as I have full view into my garage from my one corner in my lounge,I am trying to see if I can retain its look and feel.
If someone around the world could guide me I would be most appreciative.
My wife says I can put the Pani in the lounge ...but knows that the 14 steps from the garage to the lounge floor will be f@$&@&kin entertaining
