I’m obsessed with lights and Ducati has again gone far beyond impressing me with its lighting design
Do any experts know what we call the fiber optic looking wire that’s pumped with an LED. It does act as a lens to emit the light in a particular pattern as to be an exceptional DRL. What vocabulary would describe this component, and also the assembly as a whole
look closely, Audi/Ducati killed it, there are 2 fiber lenses pipes through the eyebrow of the headlight assembly and they both light up to give everyone something truly breathtaking to stare at.
One stripe of light goes down the middle of the eyebrow and the other hugs the bottom of the eyebrow closest to the headlight
and for those of you who told me turning the eyebrows into integrated turn signals possibly with a high fidelity sequential flair to it, that oncoming traffic won’t be able to see it because they're so low, but from a distance they are perfectly visible and I would argue that integrates signals would be supreme if they were done like an R8. If someone like @Nazar wants to make this dream come true let’s talk
