Asking $360 shipped for a brand new set of Ilmberger right and left gloss carbon rear tail sections. they will fit a 959 and a 1299. Retails for $452.06 plus tax for both. I'm selling them because I made a mistake. After my accident in September I ordered custom painted plastics from Motoxpricambi. I wound u getting the elite paint job and paid them $141 for 3 different custom paint jobs I wanted. If I chose any paint job on their website (doesnt matter what Ducati it was) I wouldnt have had to pay for computer renderings. But at least now I have 2 other paint jobs they could make for me. I paid around $1318.00 shipped for 17 parts. But I wasnt using their red right and left tail sections, black rear hugger, black front fender, 3 black pieces for the right and left cam covers or the seat cowl because all of these parts on my bike are carbon fiber. All of the parts on my bike including the swing arm cover and side subframe covers are ilmberger with the exception of the rear tail section and the Vandemon exhaust heat shield.
At one point my parts were matte carbon but things were switched over to gloss after installing the Vandemon exhaust. I would have just ordered a right side Full Six tail section to replace the scratched one after the accident. But I was afraid that it wouldnt match the left side since both would be glossed differently. And after calculating the costs I figured why not just order the Ilmberger rear tail parts so that everything matched up. The Full Six does look slightly different from the Ilmberger but not enough to really notice unlike the twill Full six and twill Ilmberger.
Anyway I got the parts in yesterday and was about to mount them today. Of course there is a problem. I should have realized this when I emailed Mike from Ilmberger and asked whether they made the small inner slats for rear tail sections. He said no. When he said no I should have realized that instead of each rear tail section being 2 pieces. Its one piece instead. As you can see by my paint job. If I install the Ilmberger tail pieces then those colored small inner slats will not be able to be used because the Ilmberger part is 1 big piece. So now I am going to have to order the Full six pieces. If I dont sell these two Ilmberger parts I can always take my Ilmberger gloss carbon seat cowl. Have it vinyl wrapped red white and green and then clear coated. So if anyone is interested I can send these out asap to anyone here in the US. If shipped to Canada the buyer has to pay for the shipping difference and whatever extra the paypal costs are. And regarding the commercial invoice we can discuss that through PM or over the phone.
