Can't wait for my set(s) to arrive, one for the 999R, and one for my custom project bike.

:)

I'm guessing we're looking at the wheels. Cuz blue paint isn't my thing. No offense to the Roos.

But I do like the wheels!

I was wondering when they would release wheels.

Damn, that's a sexy bike, also like the rear hugger.

It appears that there's a 'web' or 'lip' that runs along the midsaggital plane.
Why?
Is that simply a style feature?
Or necessary reinforcement?

The other brands appear smooth and finished all around the spoke circumference .

Also- what are claimed or genuine advantages of the Rotobox over BST or Dymag? (Aside from style).

Thanks for any response and/or opinion.

Dry carbon construction - Dry Carbon Fiber is the strongest and lightest carbon fiber can be.

I've tried to like these wheels (when they first showed up on the ape forum a while back) but they just look so bulky and heavy (I know they're not heavy). But to my eye, just a heavy clunky looking wheel.

But they are better looking than these rotobox wheels.

must admit they look too bulky to me-like car wheels

although sufferign from a high grade carbon fetish, i've never liked it on wheels...
too overdone? i don't know.. prefer magnesium ones for lightness and classic look..

these are bulky indeed...

So what are the details around the "special spocket"? I see that has to be ordered separately.

Oh shoot, just saw that it is not required for Single swingarm applications. My apologies.....
