Hello All!

New to Ducati!!! Just bought a 2013 Panigale 1199 S off showroom floor. I know, it's not a 2014, or even the new 2015, but it has zero miles, and I basically stole it from the dealer!!! Only thing that stinks is I bought it on Saturday and the dealer took all day to prep, subsequently, it has rained ever since!!! Only able to squeeze out 15 miles so far!!!! UGGGHHH!!!!

Gives ya a chance to get the Race seat on it before you accidentally get used to the stock "in the bike feel".

Mine needs washed, dusty garage. One more week 'till good weather gets here.

Ha ha, your love affair will only get worse!! Nice one :)

I feel your pain, I have my new Panigale sat at home in a garage with around 50 miles on the clock while I am sat offshore on an oil rig....... paying for it I guess!!!

Thanks!!! I guess the rain is allowing me to get all the goodies I want put on before she gets ridden. Sat here last night and ordered just about everything with the exception of racing seat....um......maybe I will have to get back on line for that one!!! I think all I will have to do is sell the other kidney to get one!!!!!

Raining heavy here, but the new R is getting ridden anyway. First service on Friday and more RPM to play with when the sun shines.
Guess I get to test wet mode today, so all is not wasted :)

Trust me. You don't want to find out how unbelieveably awful those Pirellis are on wet/damp roads (even in "wet" mode).

Wait for dry.

Mountain Motorsports Roswell. They are the old Atlanta Motorsports and new to Duc's. I believe the bike I bought was actually at Ducati Bogart as I was looking at it there. He closed his shop two weeks ago and this bike suddenly appeared at Roswell. Who knows, but I couldn't beat the price even if I bought a 2014 base model. I ended up getting all the goodies that come along with the "s" for a better price.

Welcome to THE forum!

congrats on the bike!

Michelin Power cups work well in the rain (if you have a passenger providing extra weight :D)

cheers!

Wondered why the forecast had gone to .... around here. Somebody bought a new bike! Always been the same for me. I could buy a bike in Phoenix and it would rain in the desert for a week... ;)

"be careful"

They said the same thing on the bike I traded when I bought this. It had 203 hp but a bit more weight and girth. I will remain within my limitations, as I have to be around to make this bike note!!!! Thanks for concern!
