Hello everyone! Looking for all of my GP shift options. I had Driven rear sets on my R6 track bike and loved them. I plan on going to a track day on the 19th this month and I'm trying not to break the bank but I also don't want complete junk on a fabulous bike! Any recommendations are greatly appreciated! Thanks guys

I don't mean to be rude or offensive but if buying a set of rear sets for a $17000-$20,000 bike that you are planning on doing a track day with , an activity marred with danger and risk, then you have your priorities absolutely skewed.
Again, my intention is not to be offensive.

Your cheapest option is ducati performance GP QUick shifter. Will set you back $275-$300
Your other option (and a far better one) is to bite the bullet and get a set of rear sets. Skip the glamour of trick and expensive rear sets and get something basic (no offense woodcraft) like the woodcraft GP rear sets.
They will run you in the low $500s shipped but you will gain Far more than just the GP shifter.
If you were saving for a better or nicer set of rear sets in the future, remember that rear sets are one of the first things to break when the bike falls over. They are an item of utility and necessity.

Just my opinion

I don't get offended easily @desmotesta so know worries I appreciate the truth whether I like it or not! So you think bite the bullet and go woodcraft GP rears? Or were you going to suggest something else?

if you are going to the track i recommend changing the pegs and buying the gp shifter for cost purposes.

its about 350

or you can buy rearsets. some you still need the gp shifter other you do not. depends what you get.

i have duca bike outstanding set.

+1 on the Woodcraft rearsets. Bombproof and look damn good. I have crash tested a few sets of the Woodcrafts on other bikes. Main reason I continue to buy them. They are crash worthy (which in turn saves other expensive parts on ur bike) and replacement parts are easy to get a hold of. Good people and fellow riders/racers.

Strangely enough I view the streets as an activity marred with danger and risk and I look at the track as a safer alternative.

Will it work on the 1199's too?

Nope. 1299 has 2-way pressure sensor = you only need to change direction. 1199 need another shifter rod with reverse pressure sensor.

I have one of those, only used 2000km in my 899. I'll sell it cheap if only postal costs are reasonable.
