I know the slip ons are not too hard to mount yourself but great job taking full system on yourself brother! Go invest on a serious dyno tuning to ensure its giving you the best it possibly can with all correct maps for it too! That is a great investment for ya!

quite an undertaking congrats!

While you were at it you could've dropped the sump and cleaned the filter screen which is due at 15k service.

Good one Michael. I do as much as I can on my bike and recently completed a long job on it. Gives you a great sense of satisfaction when you can do it yourself and learn more about the machine. Its not about saving money for me its about the fun of spending time with the bike.

Congrats. When it comes time for a new exhaust for me then I am going to have a go as well.

Thanks for the post it gives people confidence to know we can all have a go.

Good job, I like to see owners do their own work. I did mine and hit a LOT of snags. Well done!

Did it require any special tools, or just standard mechanics tools? I plan on installing my full system as well!
