I saw this in person today and was very impressed. i have the comp werks fender eliminator with the signals in the vents. i liked the look a lot. when the integrated tail light came out i didnt think i needed it and i felt it wasnt worth the money. i also felt it wasnt bright enough with the brake lights on.

I was wrong. This piece looks great and works well. it comes in 3 colors clear (not a fan) smoke (not a fan) and red (perfect). 234 is the price from comp werks saw it on revzilla for 211. anyone know of it cheaper?
 
I got mine directly from Comp Werkes booth at Laguna Seca MotoGP for 200.00... Indy is coming up :) BTW, the smoke looks awesome because it blacks out the back of the bike. I didn't think it would look as good as it does.
 
i thought that as well but when i saw it in person wasnt too sure. i didnt see that one light up though. did it light up red on the brakes? i assume you got the smoke and youre happy with it?
 
Yes, it is pretty bright when in use. They had a display showing all three lit up next to each other, wasn't much difference between the three.

my biggest concern was seeing the signal as the brakes were on but after seeing it in person wasnt a concern.

If it's not to much trouble would you mind uploading some pics of the red lense? This was one thing stopping me from purchasing it was that clear or smoke was the only option. To look like OEM and be intergrated would be perfect!

I also noted on the site that only smoke and clear were offered for sale? Where did you purchase your red lense?

It lights up red on the top when the blinker is on in amber. I'm happy with mine and I got the red lens myself. Not at home right now so I wouldn't be able to post any pics until I get home in a couple weeks.

Although i only seem to be able to select clear or smoke on the Comp Werks site though? Where did you purchase your red lens?

I got mine from shifttechcarbon for the red lens, you get a 10% discount for being a forum member, PM Guido, his screen name on here is shifttechcarbon

Thanks Trauma1199s, in your opinion does it look OEM? I think the OEM tail lights look great in Red.
 
I have the white S and the smoke lens makes the back of the bike look great. I got it for 210 from the dealer when I got the bike
