Tried searching on the subject but did not find too much other than some posts saying they are same but hard to tell. Long story short is I have an option to get one for a very decent price and contemplating swapping the electronic servos for manual knobs. The unit I am being offered is off a 2020 V4S streetfighter and I have a base 2020 V4. The retailer is telling me its the same unit despite me noticing they have different part numbers, they say its just the configuration the computer does when plugged in that is different, which would not matter to me if true considering I will remove the servos anyway.

Is this true? Or are there other internal differences that separate the two.

That would be a function of the Ohlins ECU and the bikes ECU. The shock is just electronically adjustable valves. There might be differences like springs or shock length, both of which can be changed and/or adjusted. If you have the Ohlins part numbers from the shock, an Ohlins dealer can see if there's any valve differences, but I doubt there would be.

Thanks for the reply, I'd assume its largely the same thing. Now im having trouble finding the manual knob conversions, unless they were superceded by a different part number.
