Is this website slow for anyone else?

This forum website is crazy ... slow on my computer. It's always running some script and every time I click on anything it takes 5 years to go to the new page. No other web site does it, just this one.

Anyone else have the same problem? Or one of you computer gurus know how to fix it?

I am...except I don't deal with consumers or desktop support. I could troubleshoot the issue but this is far more entertaining.

Frosty, I know you want to fix this slow speed issue....being an IT guy and a 1199 rider...you just got to hate slow speed

It's more than likely an issue with the data center's backbones that this server is hosted in...but nothing I can fix. Explains why it's fast for me, I'm geographically close to the server as far as I'm aware.

No problem here at home. But, at the various places I work, which are hosted by the same entity, it is slooowww and gets hung up. I suspect it is something with your own computer. Firewall?

I'm using internet explorer.

Seriously irritating. Like I said it's some "script" cause if I click on a new page it will load and keep loading forever until I hit the stop button then it asks me if I want to disable some script. I do that and it is fine....until I go to another page.
