This might be one of those strange questions but I searched for a while and didn't find an answer.
My new-to-me 1199 seems to have a dash that is off centered by a hair. Its not too much but once I noticed it there was no way to ignore it anymore.
I am wondering if 1) the issue is with just my bike, may be the bike was dropped by previous owner and not repaired properly or 2) all bikes are this way.
I have tried my best to hold the handle bars just straight so the steering damper and triple clamp is all aligned, yet the dash seems light it is a hair to the right and not perfectly at the center (when looking from rider's perspective)
I have tried to find proof to substantiate my 1st theory (dropped bike and repaired) but I am unable to find any sign that ANY part was repaired or even replaced. All nuts and bolts look like they have never even been removed. (fairing stay or triple clamp) -
O.C.D is a real condition
