Known issue. Been addressed in other threads.
Problem is probably the bigger heatshield which traps more hot air underneath it and doesn't cool off quick enough and either melts the plastic hugger or discolor the carbon ones. Nothing you can do about it really. I went through a warranty replacement before installing my akrapovic. The second one started to melt and then installed the exhaust and i just left it alone. Hasn't really changed in size since. I dont really care about it enough to change it again.

Finally got the bike back from dealer. Ducati say the issue is my New Rage Cycle aftermarket plate mount that is causing the heat issue and melting it. They will replace it once.
They also changed the rear shock that was a recall item

LOL what a crock of ..... I wonder what excuse they would use for mine since I'm using an evotech fender eliminator which sits all the way back but still melted 2 of my rear fenders? Just another excuse not to accept fault. I just learned to live with it n never replaced my current fender.

I had my replaced 3 times already (free). my worst than yours believe me. so far the 3rd one seem to be ok. I thought the bike is running lean but it checked out with no problem what so ever. I've been lucky so far as far as nagging issues most people have. the only issue I had is (was) the rear hugger melting and they replaced it with no question asked
