Just got the word. Full Termi install and a spin on the dyno and I'll go pick her up. EXCITED.

Damn, that color scheme is growing on me. I just don't know that I can justify the additional 4k. Termi's account for part of that which would be money spen as it is but not so sure about the other 2k for the DDA as I don't see myself using it.

Saw that bike today when I went and dropped off all my carbon parts. My 1199s is also getting full termis and being put on the dyno tomorrow morning. The Tri looks so good in person... Pictures don't do it justice. Enjoy!

I went down after work yesterday to see her. Hot damn that scheme is amazing in person. Soon as I saw it I knew it was worth it. Top Ramen doesnt taste THAT bad :)

Mine will get set up after BUCCI's bike. Ride report will be delayed a bit as I'm sending it to our local suspension superheroes to be resprung for my size.

Don't open with "I went down after work," my stomach sank a little when I first started reading that. :)

I am 6' 3" and don't have a problem but I don't think I can get down below the high screen!

Thanks. I appreciate the insight. I used to have a 97 748 and was wondering if anybody could give me a comparison between the two as far as the ergos and overall dimensions. On the 748 there was a lot of pressure on my wrists and I had plenty of room overall but the bike still felt small compared to my GSX-R.

I have a '95 916 which is ergonomically identical to the 748. The riding position of the 1199 is more compact. The bars are significantly closer to the seat and are also significantly wider. The 1199 feels tiny compared to the 916. The pegs feel like they are slightly more rearset. The 1199 is narrower at the front of the seat. All together the 1199 riding position is more up right than the 916.

Didn't you pick your bike up tonight? Post pics of that fender elimantor!!!!

Tonight actually. Having a few more dyno run-in miles put on it. R&G tail tidy arrived while I was at the track yesterday. Hope to get it on asap.

Well I hope it stays dry for you today, looks pretty nice out. Can't wait to see your bike with the fender eliminator. Enjoy your ride home!
