Wow, she said all that. Could you PM me a link to her saying she is going to heavily tax the middle class and abolish the second amendment? Good luck finding a link because she has never said either. BTW, she has not been bringing in more illegals because she isn't even in a position to do so. And if you want to know who the bigger liar is, look up "Politifact". Clue, it's not even close, and it's not Hillary. I will not debate this any more...so now on to the thread topic....

To the OP, sorry about your troubles. I have had my 1199 three and a half years and have had no real problems. Did have the wiring harness change done that only effected early 1199s and caused a couple of very minor issues with the turn signals. Other than that, in 14,000 miles my bike has been perfect. Good luck getting yours fixed.

In contrast I took mine out over the weekend hadn't started it in a month (no battery tender) it fired right up went like a dream , I'm holding thumbs that it just lasts
My bike has 2189km on now and is 10 months old , no issues Yet

obviously you think these problems are new. why not check out all the 1199 problems same thing. the coolant is basically clear so its not coolant.

Nothing is obvious to me sorry ? The 1299 is not a 1199? Or did I miss something?
The 1299 addressed certain shortcomings in the 1199 like midrange the engine has a slightly enhanced bore, from what I have read, the development was a few years on into the 1199? So one would assume they have made some changes, that would bring about different issues or is my reasoning unreasonable?

As a example the Mclaren 650 ( the older version) is not like the new new 2016 575 ..... So the issues reported in that year have very little bearing on issues that may arise in this years model, if that comparison makes any sense.

I'm just thankful that at this stage my bike is not giving trouble

So an update - now, after completing some tests - its not the thermostat and they are querying possible airlock that caused the fluid overflow??? Going to change the radiator cap and thats it. After all that, I'm more confused than ever. Hopefully thats all it was, picking her up tomorrow

Actually happened to me with CRF450R Honda. With the very first ride the bike spit out coolant. And it really was faulty radiator cap. I keep my fingers crossed for you.

Got my baby back today! Took her for around 50km ride home - mostly in traffic and stop start. Never once missed a beat. Fingers crossed and touching wood that was first and only hicup! Safe riding over the weekend everyone!!
