Just a wash

That's a couple of hours spent well, in my opinion. One clean bike, one beer.... Good to go for the rest of the weekend.

Well you have to wash it after it gives birth to another darkigale lol

Well damn.. I have owned mine for a full season (actually bought it before the snow melted), and I'm still baffled about how pretty the bike is!
I think I bought the right one :D

I've never washed/hosed down any of my bikes since i first started riding 12 years ago. Wet microfiber towel wipedown, couple of dry microfiber towels to wipe it dry and that's it. Then again, it never really gets that dirty. I do hose down the wheels but I use simple green and then rinse it off with a very soft spray.

Cuz we live in So-cal with 3 days of rain per year, our bike rarely get dirty, never rust. If I live in NYC, I would have to wash my Pani after every ride.

I wash everyone once in a while, you should be surprise where dirt and grime find their way. Otherwise spot clean.

LOL all these posts about never getting the bike wet...I must be a sadist to mine...I've taken it out in snow, slush, drizzle, thunderstorms and anything else...it's a high powered touring bike ;).

To stay on subject though for the dark panigale I was turned on to the Motul helmet cleaner, by a Motul engineer at the Indy GP. It's pretty much like a spray on detailer and works SO SO SO SO well on the matte finish.

The bike was designed to be able to ride in Rain if necessary. Is that optimal? Probably not, but it can do it and I rarely rains here but I don't let the rain stop me when it does rain. Wash if dirty enough, otherwise I detail the bodywork and clean off any major crud around the mechanicals, that's it.
