from chaparral on ebay for $404 ... :D

not too bad, ain't it? considering the stealership price for jsut a rear tire (incl. change) is $370 - with them telling me it was a good price...

unless you go 190/55 the q3 doesnt have the correct size just yet. they are still testing them to see if they will make a 200/55. the d212 gp pro is 200/55 but not in the us yet. that tire looks serious.

im very pro q3 by the way raced the q2 and they were great but that was on an r6 not an 1199

I was under the impression they don't make a Q3 tire that fits at the moment???

Depends on your point of view...:)..I have had them on my bike for the last 2000+ miles.... but 190/55 rear...not 200..

Good deal buddy, I got the rear from them for $241 and should be here by friday

The 212GPA 190/55 and the 211GP 200/55 are essentially the same exact size with different numbers. . I believe the difference is 1mm between the two. Dunlop people will tell you the same thing. The 211GP is the UK version and they have the 200/55 marking but its a bit more expensive in price.. . So you're fine with the 190/55 fitting the same as the 200/55. I think the Dunlop race guy says unless you're near the track record time, the GP's might be 0.5 seconds faster than the US made GP-A. These are DOT tires. Both are a significant improvement over Q3's. The Q3's might be better in water but at any given temperature the 211GP-s will have same or better traction than its cheaper cousin (this is from the Dunlop rep).

In terms of Pirelli tire pricing - thats the "list" price your dealer is quoting - or close to it. No one sells these at lists unless he's buying one off for you. The pricing for the Pirelli SP and SC tires at most discounted places is around 240 for the rear and 190 for the front. Anything better than that is a pretty good price.

So you're saying there's a chance?
