Kawasaki's H2 Superbike

Ducati Forum

someone who had the chance to ride it (test rider) was asked if he could categorize it - his response:

"bad mother-effer category" :D

the front wings/flaps remind me of what the 1199 has under the headlights...
i hope they have a design patent on these :D :D :D

the amount of carbon fiber (like on the SL) indicates either a quite high price or a really sophisticated, cost effective production method...

Regarding the front flaps, I was thinking the same thing. I'm looking forward to seeing how the design elements all come together.

Supposedly there is a rumor circulating that the new H2 will be, at least initially, a limited edition run of 500 units. Carbon fiber bodywork does lend credence to that theory, which means this will likely be priced well above the current liter-bike range.

i say north of 50 grand

I don't know why there's still all this speculation going on, we already have an H2 sitting in our service department..... :D

The weight is spot on the target but it might be lacking some horses :D

I thought they were positioned more like this:

Which is still quite flattering and potentially patent-infringing.

Maybe that's just that nasty faux carbon fiber that Jap bikes (I'm looking at you, Anniversary Edition R1) are often fond of. Like 3M Di-Noc:

If so, the H2 just went to the bottom of the want list

all those wings and .... are begging to be knocked off the first race when some ones elbow gets a little close.. fun replacing them

Ok, here is the latest rendering that I have found. Looks to be fairly spot-on. Kawa is def stepping up their game on this one!:D

I can only imagine the heat pouring off that engine and radiator. At 200hp, our Panigales are bad enough - with 225hp, as well as the immense torque possible from a forced induction motor, this thing should be a potential smelting plant heat source. I am more convinced it will be dissipating the vast amounts of heat, that will limit the bikes as much as anything. It has become a huge concern for the exotic cars, and just listen to F1 broadcasts about the problem. I enjoy these monsters as much as the next guy, but it would be nice to go somewhere in the summer and not get blisters all over my thighs. And then again, there's that exhaust silencer - jeez.

no for real, i just got off the plane, looked it up on another forum on the phone, saw it, posted while checking out the rental car and sitting now at the hofbrau haus in chicago, and can't find that goddrn picture any more...
