Very extreme, but I really like it. There actually seems to be a slight Panigale resemblance from that view. I imagine those wings/fins can be easily removed and replaced with mirrors/blinkers.

Yeah, I'm curious just how functional those wings are, and where the mirrors/blinkers are supposed to go. If the mirrors mount where the windshield is (that is, they are above and in addition to the wings) I think the interesting aesthetic captured in the head on shot above will be destroyed and there will just be too much action coming off of the nose.

We shall see...

Additional details from the ninjah2.org forum:

Courtesy of member @1krider we have our first officially official photograph of the Ninja H2 on our hands. The first clean look at the front of the Ninja H2-R is a clear departure from normally accepted operating procedures and a blatant "come at me" challenging the industry to meet the new bar.

Based on this screenshot, it seems as though the stock mirrors may act as direct replacements. I agree fairing mirrors in addition to fins would make it appear far too busy in that area.

Trellis frame from Ducati, Star wheels from MV Agusta, single-sided swingarm from both - how derivative a design is this? Layered on with blades and wings like a Japanese Gundam cartoon? This is a JDM (Japan Domestic Market) wet dream and a Italian-Japanese Mash-Up nightmare to my eyes.

Maybe it'll grow on me, but as of right now, definitely not a fan.

Regardless of aesthetic preferences, it's good to see this power-plant being built into a proper sport bike chassis.

besides the powerplant.. how man people are going to be lauding the "technological advances" that the big green machine has made on the slapped together Italian parts.. I mean Japanese forefront tech
