Kickstand issues after exhaust install

Just put a full Termignoni system on my 1299S- sounds great, and got the chance to pull the servo motor as well. I went to take it for a ride this morning, since social distancing and all is easy when you're in a helmet, but no matter what I do, the bike read the kickstand as always down and never up, and as such would kill itself when I put it into first. Tried putting it down and back up again with no success. I didn't have much time to look at it as I had class to attend, but while I'm sitting through lecture I figured I'd check, anyone have any idea?? I'm gonna pull the left lower fairing to check wiring later for sure.

There is a Hall effect side stand switch that is magnetically activated when the side stand is lowered and retracted Start checking there.

i would check the plug to make sure it was not accidentally unplugged during the exhaust install.

Got it figured out- lost the magnet off the back side. Picked another magnet up today, set it in place, works like a charm. Thanks all.

Another Ducati “dumb” good thing that magnet didn’t decide to fall off as you were being tailgated by freeway traffic. That entire side stand switch design is a complete .... show.

I’m experiencing similar issue as I recent had shop install full termi exhaust and was going pretty fast on high was looked down and noticed the screws in kickstand came out was was dangling by the sensor wire on the ground.

Pulled over to at least tuck the kickstand in the fairing since I was almost home and couldn’t remove wire attached. However sensor kept flickering between kickstand being up or down depending on how I held the kickstand that was just dangling so I could move. After a while if trying to reposition it to trick system to thinking kickstand was up had no luck and now it’s reads on dash as kickstand being down anyway I hold

Hoping I find similar results as you today with if I just screw kickstand back in and the magnet is the issue??
