KNOX HANDROID R GLOVES

I have the Biomech which are nearly the same except they don't have the 'Borg' extensions running along the fingers.

I tried the Dainese Full Metal, but chose Knox for the fit. I typically wear a large sized glove because of my long narrow fingers, however it took an XL to fit my hands properly.

The kangaroo leather is very supple and provides nice feedback while riding.

RS Taichi use Knox technology in their gloves.

we had a thread on these a while back .. but yes.. I have a pair.. I love em.. I do need to get a larger size as I have small hands.. I bought the mediums and even those were a tad small even after 6 full track weekends

Read my post where I cut and pasted a review from a bike forum where a guy lost his finger in a crash due to a part of the glove slicing into his finger basically cutting it off.

I couldn't find a thread on these so made a new one. Care to share?

no time for me to search now but something you can do. it was only was only in the last few months and there has been only one thread on this glove before

Unfortunately, we don't know the details of the accident or the condition or fit of the gloves. It could have been a freak set of circumstances that the glove just happened to slip, didn't sit correctly, or were worn in such a way that it enabled this to happen. Also, we can't eliminate the possibility that the accident itself would have caused any glove to crush to the point of damaging the rider's hands.

This is a good example of why sizing and proper fit apply to gloves just as they do to helmets or any other protective gear. Just because they look good with your leathers isn't a reason to buy a particular brand or model.

The Dainese are great gloves, but they were too loose in the fingers even though my fingertips reached the ends. If it had of rolled around in an accident it could have prevented the knuckle protection from staying over where they were supposed to be.

i have the knox gloves, great for the track, just a pain in the butt putting on and off time wise.

but one on, very good fitment and helps with the motion of movement the way it clicks and secures

these gloves suck i have them they are a good novelty. thats about it. protection of course is top notch cause its knox. but if you clutch with 2 fingers they are so big and bulky they get in the way. meaning you cant bring the clutch in far enough to shift unless you use all your fingers. no finger bridge. nothing. sorry i wasted my money on these.

if you want to spend on gloves there are 2 ways to go. either the upper held gloves phantom or titans (very expensive) or alpine stars gp pro which imo are better than the gp tech gloves.

I use 4 fingers clutching and braking so that shouldn't hamper me. Do you still have them Mark?

I prefer the GP Pros over the Techs as well, but the last set I had blew some stitches along one of the finger seams at Laguna Seca. Wasn't even from a crash - just rolled back into the paddock and noticed that my finger was exposed. I know a few other riders who have complained about quality as well. They do make a lot of their stuff in China, so...

I now have a couple pairs of Dainese Full Metals to go through, as well as some Fives (which are easily the most comfy gloves I've ever owned). Crash tested the Fives, and they held up well, though they're much less robust than some of the other race gloves I've owned. Haven't crashed the Full Metals (yet), so can't comment on the protective design, but they've held up much better than any A* gloves that I've owned, and the quality control seems tighter.

Haven't tried the Handroids.
