Dovi and Hayden just a tick over a half second off the pace through the first two practices. Not bad seeing they were over 2 sec at the beginning of the year.

how can this be. old # 46 couldnt do that in his 2 years at ducati. lol

Did you guys notice Marquez going from 18th place to finish 2nd? I though he was out but was I wrong. What a talented rider.

i noticed it. first time on a moto gp bike in the rain. he got a little scared but then came rooring back. was it really 18th i thought 13th but hey even better. you want to watch an amazing race with MM. if you have motogp vid access watch the last race of 2012 for moto 2. MM already won the championship and was on pole but because of a foul had to start last. well you know the rest or watch it.

I'll admit that I was one of the guys on the fence waiting to see how well MM would "port over" to the premier class, but holy cow, he really reinvigorated the field. I can't help but pull for him.

So.. I must admit to having zero interest in MotoGp..yeah go on scold me..but its true..However I did watch the Austin Gp.. its local and I had friends who were there.. and I saw most of the riders putting their feet down coming into many turns which shocked me and I thought that was weird... I am told that was a Rossi invention?? and that its a stabilising technique?? Very odd to me but obviously these guys know what they are doing...Hopefully...:D

Mark will explode in 3.....2.....1.....

Well I am guessing I was sick the day that this was discussed??:p

no he is referring to the rossi comment not really that you said what you said as i am not a fan of his. the leg was not discussed but you are right . rossi started doing it first. most guys do it some dont. JLO doesnt do it much but he is starting to now (i guess thats why he is losing hahaha) MM does it now too. i actually read an article in sport rider mag (i think that was it) that it does nothing really.

Ah.. well at least I know how to get your attention in future..lol

So its almost a fashion thing right now?? It has no effects?? This is odd to me...

I tried it a few times, but my flip flops fell off so I had to stop.

the article is pretty interesting. sort of like wade boggs eating chicken before every single baseball game. riders saw rossi doing it he was winning and they thought it was an advantage now they all do it.
funny how the mind works. if thats the real reason

do you think danny can finally do this ? he looked pretty impressive last 2 weeks. funny think if stoner didnt retire he would have been out at honda. IMO he is an incredible rider just hasnt won
