Don't know if anyone else watched race 1 of Laguna WSBK race yesterday.

Broke my heart to see Chaz get around both Kawasakis by lap 4 only to lose his front grip and slide off the track.

Man that sucked.

I really hope he has better luck today in race 2.

I cut the race off after Davide crashed.

Yeah that "blew Dog!" I couldn't think of something else that described how bad it was.

What was interesting was the interview with Chaz afterwards, He seemed to indicated the bike threw him off a bit with the engine braking. The real telling was when he said that he was having to really over ride the bike to get results, and that they need to work on the settings to find a more practical solution to get race results.

What pisses me off is that Laguna is a second and third gear track for most of the corners which plays the the Panigale's strengths. it really should have been his weekend to shine.

BTW has Aruba announced the team for next year? rumors Stefan Bradel may be joining.

Thamer, he made his way to the front and I thought Davide was going great as well. I thought it would be a 1st and 4rd place for both riders before the crashes. They haven't announced yet. Bradl would be a great addition. Brani is looking to add a second bike.

Just finished watching race 2, hell of a race Davide rode well, it looks like he might be coming into his own finally.Rea needs to sit out the next race weekend and make the championship interesting again.

If he keeps finding false neutrals he's gonna be sitting in the run off area eventually.

Weird how Sykes doesn't have that problem.

You guys got your wish.

Yea, it is weird Sykes hasn't had any false neutrals or engine braking issues like Rea. Rea has a knack from coming back from errors where others do not fair as well. Not that I want this to happen to Rea as he's a hell of a rider and earned his title and wins but it would be nice to see a close championship battle to the end.
