Larger radiators from H2O

This is without the fan, right?

Fan and fan funnel with seal mounted against lower radiator, but fan never stepped in, since I never had a real traffic jam.
I believe every bike gets hot when it is (nearly) not moving at all.

I will measure or best guess if possible how long it it takes in slow moving city traffic, like during rush hour, how long it will take to hit 103 Celsius.

The approximate dimensions of the H2O vs OEM

Tube pitch (h) is at 5 mm instead of OEM which is 10 mm, fin pitch(d) is slightly smaller 0,5 mm (OEM 1mm)and the core (w) is between 27 and 28 mm (oem is around 20-23), could not measure is perfectly.

Last Saturday, I loaded a modified Akra slip on Tuneboy tune map (1st time fan kicks in at 103 C, all next times the fan kicks in at 95 C) in the ECU, I got the map from Emma.
After the first fan initiation at 103 C, the engine did never got hotter than 95 C. :) outside air temperature was around 28 C.
Every time the engine reached 95 C I could hear the help from the fan and immediately I saw the temperature plummeting towards 90 C.
My ride was in heavy city traffic.....

Till now I am really satisfied with my Water Only H2O radiators. The quality of the product is top notch.

I still have the OEM heat exchanger, hence I do not know.
Maybe one of the specialists on the forum can comment on this issue.

Depends what bike you have. Stock, some seem the have bikes that run hotter than others. Could be a number of reasons. That being said, some of us have opted for alternative cooling methods. If the bike is street only and runs in the lower end of the HOT range, your fine. If the bike runs hot and you run the .... out of it, your oil temp at the bearing is for sure high. I have spoken to qualified individuals who have a pretty good deal of experience with these engines. So good oil, temps under 210, good maintenance and keep it sane with the rev limiter and your fine with the heat sink. The design is basically .... to begin with. The genius that is Ducati thought it would be a great idea to use a heat sink then mount it right above the exhaust manifold. The exhaust manifold additionally shows no love to the oil pump and the sump. It is what it is. We building a small oil cooler that fits between the upper and lower radiators and mounts to the fan shroud. It uses #8 AN lines to the MAC oil cooler plate. The all MAC 35mm water radiator rocks.
