Today I noticed a blue fluid making its way to my lower left side fairing, I found a piece to the clip/clamp, no idea where it goes but I took a scribe and pulled lightly on a few clamps, all seemed tight. Its the big hose on the left side that goes into the engine, never tinkered with it before and haven't had any issues until after my first service at A&S Powersports. Any thoughts?

Its a small clamp that secures the maybe 1/2" hose that vertically connects to the top of the engine.

My bike has about 1400 km on it and started leaking around 900 km just before my first service. I told them on my first service and they said that it was a loose clamp and that they had fixed it. Two days later blue coolant started to drip on the garage floor again. The next time I took it in, I left it with them for 10 days as I went on a holiday to Thailand and it should have given them plenty of time to fix it, but no they didn't. The young ........ who was in charge of the service department virtually told me that I was imagining that there was a leak, even after I put my finger on the exact spot and they were covered with blue coolant. Once again, two days later, it started to drip on the floor.

It is now in the shop for the third time and has been in there for 3 days now. They are going to replace the coolant temperature sensor O-ring, which they ordered today. I was going to pick my bike up this afternoon, but then got a call informing me that the mechanic had broken my lower fairing! Now I have to wait until Monday to get my bike because the idiot mechanics at my dearlership are useless!

I am now going to write to Ducati Australia and ask for a free MotoGP ticket for the crappy service that I have received on my bike.

Not happy at all.

Found a nice little puddle of coolant just in front of my stand on the ground. Took off the side fairings and traced little drips up the side of the bike to what looks like the hose you described - a small hose coming off the top of part of the engine. It's not the very top, but it's basically above the alternator there on the side of the bike. There is a big coolant hose going into the side of the engine there, but the smaller hose is a bit farther out from the point where the big hose enters the engine, and slightly more forward on the bike.

It looks like coolant is gathered around where that small hose connects. I didn't see any place where it looks like the coolant dripped or flowed down to it. I'll have to call my dealer today and ask them if they've had any experience with it.

There you have it.

I don't have the fairings off, but if I recall, the coolant line clamps are oetiker (single use). These do tend to leak if not closed correctly during assembly. You might try getting stainless steel conventional hose type clamps (they have a screw you tighten) that should fix the problem,

Yes, it is one of those static clamps. I talked to my dealer, and they said they hadn't had a lot of issues with coolant leaking, but they said typically Ducati tells them to replace those with the screw clamps. So hopefully they'll do that with mine.

Got fixed today, new sprocket, flange, chain, nuts etc with DP carbon now on, I will have it tomorrow.
