Just came back from my Dealer! Stock forks rebound is non functioning, Dealer submitted paper work to have them replaced again... So far under warranty I've had, or will have 2 sets of forks replace, rear cylinder head valve seal ( failed and sprayed oil all over exhaust and rear tire while riding) Electrical system failure ( bike's dash looked like xmas lights throwing every error code in the dictionary at once, while flashing all lights front and rear on an off like an ambulance), anyone have any experience with this situ?

Have a sit down with an attorney who specializes in Lemon laws, anyone have any experience with this situ?

Sorry to hear you are having such dramas. I hope they get the bike repaired ok.

Good luck with it. They are a great bike and most do not have so many problems. All the best with it.

The court decides what is fair. Usually you're not going to get all of your money back on a non-essential item like a bike.

Fix it, sell it. Buy a Suzuki.

Or an HP4, there are a couple of sycophants on here that would prob join you in a circle jerk if you buy one.

:)

You don't know anything about law, or this law do you?

he will get back every penny if he wins.

And the law varies by state

Wait"¦.why did mark and whitepani reply as if I was speaking to them ?? I made no mention of specifics"¦

OR"¦they automatically acknowledge themselves as the board clowns who people refer to.

Dunno. Humorous though.

NOLA.

Exactly, law varies. Both times I witnessed it, they subtracted the depreiciation on the ride. IME, only a complete and total non-fiixable Lemon
gets you 100% back. And I doubt an 1199 will meet that in any court I've been in.

Lemon Law-ing a Dodge Cummins in FL was about as good as just fixing it and selling it. Lost at least $13k on that.

That sucks.

Is there such a thing?

Im from the school it snot broke until I cant fix it.

I wonder how much ownership plays into some of these Ducati problems, I know there is a tie sometimes, And sometimes there isn't a tie.

same boat my friend

I recently purchased a 1199 Pinigale R last week and it has spent more time at the dealership diagnosing problems than at my home. First day got the bike home late only to go riding the next day and the oil pressure sensor warning loght stayed on. Dealership said it was a faulty ground wire on the sensor itself. Picked the bike bike back up and road home only to find oil leaking down the bottom front side of engine and traveling onto the exhaust and rear tire you stated with your problem. The bike is still at dealership being diagnosed for that issue at this time.
Being my first duck, this experience with Ducati has and is still is not a pleasant one for me. A bike of this status should not be a wrench chaser like this off the very start. I have only put 178 miles on it.

Yes, im having the same issue, plus more.

I've had 4 or 5 oil valve seals, once of which blew oil all over the tire at 80+ MPH, constant oil leaks, 45+ days in the shop AT ONE TIME, and another 20 days out of service spread over months. Ducati has also replaced my fairing 3 times because the exhaust keeps burning a hole through it. front forks replaced, stator/batt replacement, plus a few others.

Can you PM me your cell number? I'd like to speak to you about what you're doing? Im writing DNA an email right now about this and just googled for similar issues and surprisingly found you...
