Glossy CF is ....... beautiful.
I met up with crix and a bunch of other guys from here today and Chris' Red S was decked out in gorgeous glossy CF, with a fantastic wax job that was gleaming.

Now, I still wouldn't put Matte on my white, but damn that is beautiful. For those who I've offended regarding glossy, I, Dylan, respectfully apologize.

Shall I ever get another Red Ducati, it shall be loaded with glossy goodies!

You know what.... Honestly glossy carbon fiber looks pretty damn good.. Matte is nice but itlooks no different then the plastic... I feel glossy is seeking attention while matte is like low key... I still love both

Thank you Whitey!

I just had to reply to this my friend. After all the ball busting I took (in jest and good fun) I have always stood my ground that glossy carbon fiber is far superior and accomplishes what carbon is supposed to do on a beautiful bike. I for one truly appreciate you stepping up by posting this Whitey! My hat is off to ya man.

IMHO matte carbon is inferior to the black plastic crap they put on as fenders and huggers. I wouldnt take a matte piece of carbon if it was offered free (well perhaps thats not true since it would be in a box on its way to be cleared by Sean at CCR) There is nothing about matte that stands out, makes one look a little closer, or turns heads the way a highly waxed and shined piece of glossy CF does. Now can I interest you in some glossy side covers for your Pani Whitey? :)

All in good fun my fellow members. I do not forget it was matte that won the poll i posted long ago, so I give it credit where it belongs - just not on anything I own. :D Lest we also forget that Guido from Shift Tech brings us the very best in both finishes as well !

Ps. Just got some new pics from Sean on another Panigale paintjob he finished up. I think you will like em!

Can't lie, I was sure this was a different apology. We are all so excited you like glossed carbon.

Can't even believe I'm going to flip-flop.
Gunny- you'll have a pm from me sometime.
I think I'll do the front (I love/WANT YOURS) fender, rear hugger, chain cover, swing arm cover, shock cover and heel guards. Feel free to pm me a total (Get ready to melt VISA!) including my generous ducati1199.com discount :D

Ill advertise on my bike for more :)))

It definitely screams while the matte whimpers.

Also, does anyone know the brand of those colored Ti bolts? I can't find that thread.

Thanks for the props on my glossy CF!! We had a blast yesterday on our "Tour de PA".

Sayreville NJ, to Easton PA, to New Hope PA, to Philadelphia PA, and back home to Jersey (all on the OEM seat for me).
