I have a broken end on my break lever. Still works fine but looks $hity.

I had decided on DP levers however they seem to be on a (I don't know when) backorder.

Can someone make a suggestion as to which might work best IYO. Best function very important with appearance important. I know the price ranges so would appreciate which you would like best and not best bang for the buck thing.

If anyone knows where I can get my hands on DP levers that would be great.

Many thanks,

I'm not sure how the CRG Carbon levers are but I think they look pretty nice.

i have the chinese adjustable levers they work fantastic and look the same as the ducabike ones.

i must say though i took them off and got the crg carbon shortys work great look even better. i break and clutch with 2 fingers so these are perfect. if you use your whole hand you may have to get use to them. they are expensive though

I went with Motowheels folding lever set with remote adjust. Super quality and yes, best bang for the buck for both levers at $249 including remote adjuster :D

I have the CRG shorty in black. Work great and look great. Paid $180 shipped for the pair.

You wouldn't need them. No one adjusts levers enough to make this worthwhile unless there are more than one riders using the bike. Even so, adjusting levers using the standard method with the clickers isn't any less effective since no one needs to adjust on the fly. Extra cost for no effective reason unless there's a completely different reason for having them. Basically the same as spending in excess of $400 for levers that do the same exact thing as $100 levers and don't look or function any better than $100 levers but to each his own.

Remote brake lever adjusters are for when you're using your brakes hard and long enough to have them potentially start to fade a bit and the lever starts to come back towards the grip for the same pressure as a result. A simple roll of the thumb as you're tucked in on a straight is all that's needed to move them out and give you the same position. Every racebike has them (I'm not talking club level).

I've done endurance racing where in a 45 minute or longer stint you absolutely need them. All that's behind me now and I don't foresee needing them on the trackdays I'm planning now, but it's nice to know they're there. And yes, Wilkson, they look pukka IMHO. Not bad for $250 complete either.

You're absolutely right. Biggest difference for me is looks. I don't think those levers are any better than my cheap chinese knock offs and more importantly they dont look any better. Even if they were cheaper than my $85 knock offs, I still wouldn't buy them cuz they're ugly and have unnecessary cables runnin around the center of the bike. So I guess since I don't race my bike and use it to its full potential, I guess I'll be that poseur. I got the aluminum wheels because I wasn't going to waste an extra $1000 on something I was going to powdercoat anyway. Plus they only made 50 in mag. Good luck finding a set. Coming from a base, the weight savings is great and frankly, I wouldn't care if they weighed the same as my base wheels, thus making your point irrelevant. My akras simply sound better than termis. Tell this to the number of people who have gotten rid of their full termis for an akra system as well as those who are shopping around for them still. They must all be pro racers as well to use the power difference right? Again, terrible point for you. And as far as my ohlins, cartridges are a waste of money, not because of its lack of effectiveness but because when u factor in labor associated with installing cartridges, you're not far off from a full set of forks when install on those will be a lot easier and some shops will even install them for free if you buy from them as a deal. I'll also have a much better shot of selling them down the road than someone selling cartridges since you will once again have to pay for labor to swap your oems back in its place. People upgrade for various reasons. I simply stated my opinion since we all are entitled to having one. If your comments about me being a poseur is because of all the mods on my bike and how I'm not even using them to its potential, then that would apply to almost everyone on this forum who have invested in wheels and a full system. Gunny has one of the most tricked out Panigales on here. I guess he must be the ultimate poseur. That sucks cuz I really want that king poseur title. Also, the fun factor for me is seeing the bike go through its phases with the mods, not necessarily the end result.

I'm fully aware of his history with bikes and his current state. Wasn't my point. My point is, people spend money on things for various reasons. Buy cred? Lol you're kidding, right? Obviously I could have went n purchased an R, made it a dedicated track bike and enjoy that route. For me, that would be silly because that's not what I care to do. I'd rather buy a cheap 600 n trash that on the track rather than a 20-30k bike.

My comment about your levers was about the levers, not you or what you stand for. If it was, then I'd be directly talkin .... about the people who have spent $$ on DP levers. You clearly missed my point. I forgot that Caliduc has a sick tricolore as well n no way in hell would I be talkin .... about him or anyone else personally. It was nothing more than an opinion of mine and not seeing the value of such levers because almost none of us are doing endurance races to worry about that kinda lever.

If you'd like to stoop that low and start with the name calling, no problem. You can win that battle. You definitely don't know about my nature or my riding history at all. I'd suggest you don't read into it too deep but i guess we're a lil late for that. Don't get your panties in a bunch. It really isn't that serious.
