This bike is in absolutely mint condition with only 300kms (less than 200miles). It's completely stock with the full Termi race exhaust installed. Also included are a band new factory exhaust system, spare windscreen, and passenger pegs/seat (never installed).

Factory warranty remaining until July 2016.

Located in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.

Asking $21,500 USD.

Let me know if I'm totally off on the pricing. It's difficult to price it in another currency...maybe closer to $20,000 USD.

See what Jerry Ordanis will give for you at GP...
he gave me $22,000 on my 1198s when everyone else was offering $18,000

Ducati west lake sold brand new 2014 1199R's for $22,000 at last Summer's end. Shooting myself in the foot I couldn't get credit approval at the time. :'(

Your price is good! I just got my 2014R for $20,000 but it had 2500 miles on it. GLWS!

As one who is very skeptical of EVER posting my own pristine killer of a bike here, I applaud al within for not ripping the man to tiny pieces to be weighed down in some fast moving water some here across the world!! Very well done thus far gents. .
I my personal opinion, which no doubt someone is asking "Who the he'll is this frigging guy?" - yet others may know my background.
So IMHO - stay with this price and don't start getting nicked and dimed or worse yet seeking to take THIS PIECE or THAT PIECE as if the entire bike is taken down to its nuts and bolts in your basement.

I say Good for you my man. Good for you on a friggin Ducati R !! Z

The bike has been for sale for over a year now. I wish him well and all, but it's only worth what it's worth. And that is not "ripping" him, it's just an observation. Credit to him for saying "let's talk numbers".

Question.

Why are you selling it with those low miles and please describe mint.
Thanks

Selling because it never gets used. Hence the low mileage. And I would describe mint as no scratches, rock chips or other noticeable blemishes. It looks and performs as if it never left the showroom.

Anyone know the process of titling a Canadian titled vehicle in the United States?

As far as I am aware, it needs to be declared when crossing the boarder (probably have to pay whatever tax your state charges on used vehicles) and then get inspected/safetied at an authorized inspection station.

as the saying goes its only worth what somebody is willing to pay for it. was that yogi?

obviously it should tell you something about the mkt on a used ducati any type s, r, base cant even get 20k usd for a 3 year old r with basically no miles.

throw in out of warranty and what do you get. 16k

good luck with sale.

The market is much smaller here in Canada. However, the bike has actually been sold twice since it was originally posted. The first buyer put a decent deposit down and then couldn't secure financing. During the second sale, I decided I wasn't quite ready to let it go.
