Generally when I have to hop on the highway (or Lake Shore Drive for example) I wear one. If it's just a ride around the neighborhood, like going to a friends house I do not.

Prob the dumbest thing I have heard in a long time.. so stupid that I don't feel it required me to extend the "benefit of the doubt" or "common courtesy" to not be rude..
That is just DUMB!!

Do us a favor, go outside to your drive way, run at 5 mph and hit your head on your driveway... Now imagine what 10 MPH, 25MPH or 35 MPH feels like

MOST who get serious head injuries never actually see what happens to the ones they leave behind.. The medical bills, the life support.. The bankruptcies.. the emotional trauma..

being Young and stupid is no excuse to treat your loved ones like that..
