So as the title states I have my track bike spare engine that I need put back together by someone who knows what they are doing. Since I live in Ca I would prefer to drop it off and not mess with trying to ship it out. Does anyone know of a good shop or individual?

Check with Mike "Fuzzy" Castro he in So Cal builds tons of Moto America motors and Duc's as well.

It’s going to be hard to get parts for a RC51 motor, given 2007 was it’s last year. And you will never get HRC parts. They were never available even back in its heyday

I have just about everything already. Its really more of a blueprinted motor without HRC bits. I'm really just wanting a solid motor with a little more grunt than stock. Already had the heads ported by Horde, and a set of High Comp Pistons. coupled with an HRC copy full Ti system and I think 135 is a reasonable number to hit. Not too bad for a 2004 bike. Just need someone who knows what they are doing to put it together correctly.

You have your answer if someone in CA doesn’t work out. Horde is great with old miss Piggy, I should have never sold mine!
Please post some pictures?
Thanks

Super helpful DC great contribution

Hey B, is Erion still in business? They used to have a shop in Anaheim. Kevin did a lot of 51 stuff back in the day

I agree, but I forgot to take my horse paste this morning on my multigrain slice of bread. Sorry bro, I’ll do better next time. I had an RC myself, been looking for another one but most have been butchered with ugly accessories. I remember when the guy that bought mine rode away, I was like damm….why’d I do that? It was an 2006 with the black bodywork and Sato cans.

I have a local buddy that has two 51's one is a 2001 has like 30k miles on it and other one is a 2006 completely stock less then 300 miles he might be tempted to unload it have to check.
