this for real? I was going to buy a ZX10R this weekend but this might change those plans...
Are they new or demo bikes?
I don't understand the connection you make here between buying an R and a Zx10??

Not sure of the poster's plans for the ZX-10. I briefly considered one last year and my plans included Ohlins FGRT forks and TTX Mk2 Shock, full Ti exhaust, ECU flash, piggy back fuel controller, custom dyno tune, Magnesium Wheels, rearsets, race bodywork, sliders all around. All of that pretty much equals what these demo R's are going for so I consider it cross-shopping.
But given all the above I would definitely buy the Zx10.... You would have a brilliant bike ... and I am sure (controversially) a better bike too..

Cough (controversial) HP4
Have you read about the Ohlins Mecatronic shock that is only available for the ZX-10R so far? That was actually what I was considering instead of the TTX Mk2 rear.

just to let you know, seacoast sport cycle in derry, nh is selling a new r for 26k! Smokin deal!
got me excited but its the cota test models and they disperse them without telling you if a reporter rode it or if nicky or spies rode it
I'd get the green one.
Absolutely. And you get the added benefit of speaking with one of the best techs in the business there too! Those who know Kyle Thompson will no doubt agree!
For sure, one of the two legends you mentioned in another thread.
Kyle did the first service on my R a few weeks ago. Always learn lots as, just like at BCM, Seacoast lets you hang around. This is the way Kyle likes it. Btw, he installed the MWR while I was there. Dave
How many kilometers on the clock? They can't just erase it to zero????
