Hi Guys,

I recently purchased the Luimoto Cover for the 1199. It looks amazing. A little pricy for what it is, but the italian flag colours along the side look awesome.

It was easy to fit as well.

I recommend one to all.

checked it out and looks nice but they don't list a cover for the dp racing seat? can you use the stock seat cover? i don't know if it would fit the same and for that sort of money it better! ;)

Here's some pics of the Luimoto seat cover that I had on my bike:

I've had mine on for several weeks and grip definitely improved. I don't slide around at all now. Pricey "yes" but after its on think it was worth it. There's a great thread on here that tells you how to install even down to the size of staple to use.

I have it on one of my bikes and find it to be not any gripper than stock. Just my personal experience. Looks great and great fit tho.

Hey jarelj, is this on the standard seat or did you fit it to the race seat?

That's on the standard seat. I did it thinking it would be grippy like the race seat, and looks good too! However, with leathers on it's not any grippier than the stock seat, so I went back to the racing seat and I donated the stock seat with the nice cover on it to a friend of mine for his street Panigale.

I'm a fan. It looks great; better than the Comfort seat IMO. But since I've had the Comfort seat on my bike since day 1 some 2700 miles ago, I can't tell if I'm ok with the stock seat having used it for just one day for the first time today. I think I like the stock seat riding position better so hopefully in a few weeks, I can decide whether to part ways with the Comfort seat. I really like the looks of the Italian flag on the Luimoto cover and it was easy to install with just a flat screwdriver and a good stapler. I'm street only, no track.
