I tried my little tank bag that worked perfectly with my z1000. The damn thing didn't magnetically attach to the Pani? It is metal right? Have the Italians figured out a way to ignore the laws of magnetism?

Someone flunked his physics class.....:D

You probably wouldn't want to even if you could....the paint is so crapmand thin it'll get destroyed after one ride.

Oh yeah, you guys are hilarious:). It's certainly not a big deal, but I was puzzled. Anyone else try a magnetic bag on one of these?

Wow...i can't be the only person never to have tried a magnet on aluminum? Or maybe I am:confused: I'll try to be brighter in future posts. Thank god I'm not an engineer:D

be careful! the 1199 has Magnesium covers, if you put magnetic bag close to it, the covers will melt! XD

The funny thing is that you are going to buy a bike that you dont know what it is made of.......not to worry mate we have all said some silly things in our life, thanks for the laugh by the way:D

Basic rule is material that has iron can be magnetic.
Aluminum doesn't have iron.
